Penny
Now that the rain has stopped, it has cooled off a bit. Finally you can be outside without melting... Here's Penny in the garden, obviously more amused by something other than me... You know, in her old age, she is far more difficult to take a picture of. Kinda like a grumpy old lady :) I know I'm her mommy- but how cute is she????

Precious. I'm glad the weather has cooled a bit. It has here, too. Dogs got walks yesterday AND today after not getting them in a couple of weeks.
She's absolutely adorable.. dogs are the BEST... such a gift to have them in our lives.
Penny's a lovely dog, Karen. I know what you mean about the "old age" thing. It takes patience and time to get a good shot of dogs no matter what the age. It's also tricky for me to get a good shot of Mattie since she's deaf and it's hard to get her to look my way... getting her attention is a challenge, unless i have food! And then she won't sit still, of course!
Nice to see that it was cool enough for her (and you) to get out in the out of doors. I wonder if she had "cabin fever" or if she knew that the reason she was in more was because of the humidity/heat...???
Thanks for the comforting words on my blog...unfortunatly I had more bad news to post today.
These pictures helped put a smile on my face today! Thanks! I am going to sign adoption papers for pup #3 today!
Oh Karen, Penny is absolutely gorgeous! I'm obsessed with my dog too. He's a 3 year-old Jack Russell Terrier so getting pictures of him is sometimes difficult too. I love the ears in the second photo. :o)
i think she looks regal and queen-like. she's very sweet.
pretty back yard too!
Thanks for the comments on my baby everyone!
Tara and Melody- Dogs are blessings that make life so much better! and they give us an excuse to get out and walk them!
Kleo- I love your comments- I don't know how you find the time for everyone! Penny is starting to lose her hearing too. She is so low key at this point, I think I like the walks more than she does. She came with me last night to go see fireworks at the end of my street. She watched them! And we were far enough away that the noise
Geraldine- I can't wait to go check out the Mitz at your blog!
Carrie- my parents have a jack russell terrier tey adopted from their humane society and we adore her. She is a snuggler and loves to cuddle with whoever is willing. I adore her!
Harmonia- I responded on your blog and cannot wait to see pup #3.
TK- She is a queen, lol. At least she acts like one :) That is the path that leads us to the back yard and I love it!!! I try to weed as much as I can to keep it looking nice.
I love her.
aw what a cutie!
I wish it wasn't melting hot here
Teddy
Simon is very cuddley and sucky too. Some people tell me they don't like Jacks because they're so yappy. Simon is not at all yappy. Just a tough guy outside, but like jelly on the inside.
These were great pics. You have a beautiful dog and backyard. Give Penny a big hug for me.
We haven't signed the papers yet because they wanted to treat him for another infection. :) But soon.
Hope all is well.
Hi Penny!!
PS: One more comment re: Blogger, did you know the banner color (blogger part) has a black option, just found that out, might be kinda cool...G
Is Penny a German Shepherd?? She is so sweet. Also, she might want to participate in 'Sheep Dog of the Day'. LOL
